Ralf Rangnick had told Manchester United's youngsters to enjoy themselves as they prepare to face Nottingham Forest in the final of the FA Youth Cup on Wednesday.
Old Trafford is set to host more than 55,000 fans for the event next week, smashing the previous record attendance of 38,137. Tickets are being sold for just £1 with all proceeds being given to the Manchester United Foundation. Rangnick has hailed the expected turnout for Wednesday as United prepare for their first appearance in the final of the competition since 2011.
“Again, it just shows how many people love this club, how many people identify themselves with this club,” he told manutd.com. “This is just amazing, and this is one of those things that I will never forget in my life: having been able to work for a club like this.”

The team is expected to contain the likes of Charlie McNeill, Joe Hugill and Alejandro Garnacho, with the latter having made his senior debut for the club in the recent draw with Chelsea. Rangnick had some words of advice for the youngsters ahead of the clash.
He added: “Just enjoy yourselves like we did against Brentford. They might play in front of 45-50,000, I heard from John Murtough before the press conference, and in a Youth Cup, to play in front of 50,000 at Old Trafford is massive.
“It's a fantastic experience and they should just enjoy themselves and not so much be worried if they can and how they can win the game. Just have fun and show everybody how good they are.”
