JAIPUR: The Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Rajasthan Royals are preparing to welcome back fans at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur for the 2024 IPL season.
The Sanju Samson-led side will be facing Lucknow Super Giants on Sunday, March 24, 2024, in a thrilling opening encounter for the franchise.
With just four days to go for the important match, the Sawai Mansingh Stadium is being prepared to host the IPL matches again. A visible change in the setting of the stadium has been the use of pink colored seats throughout which add to the beauty of the iconic stadium that has been the home of the Royals since their inception.
The new and upgraded hospitality areas also provide fans with the opportunity to comfortably watch their favourite players including Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sanju Samson, Ravichandran Ashwin, Jos Buttler and Yuzvendra Chahal among others. In association with the Rajasthan State Sports Council under the aegis of the Department of Sports - Government of Rajasthan, the Royals are making sure that the attending fans receive the best experience when they attend the matches at the stadium.
The franchise has also expanded the Super Royals stand which is a dedicated stand for the most passionate supporters and provides a great atmosphere with a live local band including dhol drummers and trumpeters.
As a mark of respect, the franchise and the Department of Sports - Government of Rajasthan has also announced that it will be hosting renowned former sportspersons who have done the state of Rajasthan proud, along with former captains of the Rajasthan cricket teams over the years.
Online tickets for the match were made available to the fans to purchase through its official ticketing partner BookMyShow's website and app last week, while offline tickets for the match are also available at the Box Office situated at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in the following locations - West Gate, East Gate, North Gate
