JAIPUR: The Covid-19 active cases in the state again breached the 600-mark. The active cases had gone up to 657 on May 29 but it reduced in next few days and went below 400 mark but for the past few days, active cases have been increasing and now it has again breached 600-mark again to touch 631 cases. In the past 24 hours, the active cases have increased from 581 to 631.
Rajasthan reported 115 daily Covid-19 cases on Thursday, the biggest single day spike in 20 days. Last time, the state had breached the 100-mark on May 27 when state had reported 113 daily Covid infections.
The state reported 77 new daily Covid infections in 24 hours on Thursday bringing the overall tally to 12,86,731. No death was reported. The toll stands at 9,560.
In 24 hours, Jaipur reported highest daily Covid infections, where 30 persons were found infected with the virus, while Ajmer reported eight cases, six cases each were reported from Bikaner and Dausa, five from Kota, four cases each from Jodhpur, Churu, three cases from Udaipur and two cases each were reported from Tonk, Sikar, and one case each was reported from Alwar, Chittorgarh, Dholpur, Hanumangarh, Jalore, Kota and Rajsamand.
