Woman dies in Christmas Eve crash on M2 amid packed roads and rail disruption to Gatwick

A woman in her 20s from the Faversham area of Kent has died on Christmas Eve following a crash on the M2.

The London-bound carriageway remains shut between junctions 5 for Maidstone and 4 Gillingham after a black Volkswagen T-Roc collided with the central reservation barrier before overturning.
