Arsenal have once again been linked with a move for Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling.
According to the Telegraph, the Gunners are ready to explore the possibility of signing Sterling should he become available this summer when his City contract enters its final year. Arteta will look to bolster his squad with attacking options when the window opens and Sterling, who he worked well with at City, will come under strong consideration.
The report adds that the England international, 27, has put talks over his future to one side to concentrate on his team's Premier League title defence and adding a fourth winners' medal to his collection. City have been traditionally reluctant to let players in their prime run down deals, meaning that they may be willing to allow him to leave the club in the coming months.
