Quote of the Day by Viktor Frankl: ‘When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to…’ Powerful life lessons on why accepting the situation and moving towards transformation can heal you

Viktor E. Frankl was a psychiatrist, neurologist and Holocaust survivor whose life gave profound meaning to his work on human resilience. Born in Vienna in 1905, Frankl developed an approach to psychotherapy centered on the search for meaning, later known as logotherapy. His ideas were shaped not only by his professional work but also by the unimaginable suffering he endured in Nazi concentration camps during World War II. After surviving, Frankl wrote extensively about how people respond when circumstances become almost impossible to control. His philosophy did not suggest that suffering is desirable or that people should simply accept injustice. Instead, it explored the inner freedom people may still possess when external circumstances cannot immediately be changed.
