Quincy Williams named Jets team MVP

The Jets announced the winners of their team awards for 2023 and linebacker Quincy Williams was voted as the Curtis Martin Team Most Valuable Player.

William was among the most-improved players across the entire league, let alone on the Jets. He elevated his play this season to become a force both stopping the run and defending the pass. He is among the top 15 players with 131 tackles this season and has recorded ten passes defended. Only San Francisco’s Fred Warner (11) has more among linebackers.

The Jets signed Williams to a three-year, $18 million contract last offseason. The Jets are already getting their money’s worth on the contract. Williams is quickly becoming part of the heart and soul of the Jets defense. In a group full of great players on defense, Williams certainly deserves this honor from the team.
