A drug kingpin ended up facing 200 years in one of America's worst prisons.
Shaun Attwood grew up in Widnes, describing himself as a "quiet, shy lad", he took an interest in the stock market in his teenage years and began trading at 16. Growing up, Shaun, now 53, would visit an auntie over in Arizona, and fell in love with the lifestyle in the States.
The rave scene of the late 1980s had an impact on Shaun, who dreamed of taking the scene over to America one day. Shaun flew out to Arizona to live with his auntie and embarked on a successful career in the stock market, which saw him make a million dollars by his late 20s.
