Queer Scottish bookshop raises £14,000 after window bearing ‘trans’ is smashed

A QUEER bookshop in Scotland has raised more than £14,000 in just 12 hours after a window which has the word "trans" on it was targeted and smashed.

Category Is Books, in Govanhill, had operated without security shutters for eight years but in the face of growing “intimidation, spitting and aggression” and vandalism, the fundraiser was launched.
