Queen Mary 2 coming into Liverpool tonight for Coronation celebration voyage

The Queen Mary 2 will arrive in Liverpool today.

The cruise liner departed from Southampton this morning and is currently estimated to arrive in Liverpool at 8.30pm. The special Coronation celebration voyage was announced at the last minute, with people being able to bag five nights on the vessel from £499 per person.

Cunard acting senior vice president Angus Struthers said: "We wanted to provide an opportunity for our guests to enjoy an unforgettable, very special and unique celebration of the Coronation. What better way to mark this momentous occasion than being on board our majestic flagship Queen.”
