The Queen has reportedly been introduced to her oldest grandson's new girlfriend following his divorce.
It is believed that Her Majesty has met Peter Phillips' new partner Lindsay Wallace after a shooting party, which was held in Windsor.
It's been almost two years since Peter announced he and ex-wife Autumn were separating and their divorce was finalised last June.
And according to The Sun, royal insiders believe that Peter introducing his new girlfriend to the Queen is a sign the "couple are serious".
A source told the publication: "The Queen is one of the most important people in Peter’s life so it’s only right that he introduces Lindsay to her. It was a very warm meeting and the Queen was clearly delighted to meet someone who makes Peter so happy.
“It may still be early days but Peter wanted his grandmother to see he was happy. It is a clear sign that Lindsay has now been firmly welcomed into The Firm and a major first step if they were to ever choose to get married. The Queen just wants Peter to be happy.”
Peter and ex-wife Autumn, who have two daughters, Savannah and Isla, revealed in February 2020 that they had split after 12 years of marriage.
They both continue to live on his mum Princess Anne's Gatcombe Park estate in Gloucestershire to co-parent the girls.

It is understood that Peter, who walked between Princes William and Harry at Prince Philip's funeral, and Lindsay grew close after Lindsay's marriage also broke down.
Lindsay is a school friend of Peter's sister Zara Tindall as both attended the prestigious Gordonstoun school in Scotland. She was also a guest at Zara's wedding to Mike Tindall in 2011.
Last year, a source told the Daily Mail that Peter and Lindsay had been "keeping things under wraps".
In November, they were pictured together in a car arriving at the joint christening of Zara's son Lucas and Princess Eugenie's son August Brooksbank.
Peter is the oldest son of Princess Anne and her first husband Captain Mark Phillips and is the oldest grandson of the Queen.
He is 18th in the line of succession but holds no royal title - the same as younger sister Zara - and is not a working royal.
Peter has had a variety of jobs throughout the years, starting his career as a corporate hospitality manager for Jaguar.
He became a sponsorship accounts manager for Williams racing team then in 2005 joined the Royal Bank of Scotland and designed and ran their first global Formula One sponsorship programme.
In March 2012 he, alongside long-term friend and mentor James Erskine, set up Sports & Entertainment UK Ltd which has the address Buckingham Palace Road.
The firm describes itself as a "sports and entertainment agency specialising in large scale event delivery, sponsorship and consultancy".
