Quantuma has appointed Craig Morrison as a managing director in its Scottish practice.
He will be based from the advisory firm's new premises in Edinburgh, which is its second Scottish office and 18th in the UK.
Morrison joins from FRP Advisory, where was a director for nine years, prior to which he held senior roles in the restructuring and recovery division of RSM Tenon.
His experience includes the undertaking of independent business reviews on behalf of a range of lenders, as well advisory engagements. He is primarily focused on corporate insolvency assignments, most recently being involved in the administrations of grain supplier Alexander Inglis & Son and of cinema group Filmhouse.
Morrison’s appointment follows the appointment of Alistair Dickson as a managing director in the firm’s Glasgow office during April.
“I am delighted to have joined Quantuma at an exciting point in its journey, as it looks to its next phase of growth which will be accelerated by the private equity investment received earlier in the year,“ stated Morrison.
“I have been impressed at how the firm has simultaneously developed its service offering and footprint to become a leading advisory firm both in the UK and overseas.”
Quantuma chief executive Carl Jackson said: “Over the last year we have experienced high demand for our high quality, specialist advisory services and the opening of an office in Edinburgh is in direct response to the demand notably from businesses in and around the Edinburgh region.
“Scotland is one of a number of areas of focus for us and I anticipate we’ll have more announcements in the coming weeks and months, as we continue to strengthen our team to better serve Scottish businesses, their management teams and their stakeholders.”
