The Seattle Seahawks continue to work on their most vulnerable positions in the 2022 NFL draft. After selecting cornerback Coby Bryant at No. 109 overall, Seattle used its next pick to snag another cornerback. This time, it’s UTSA corner Tariq Woolen following a trade with the Kansas City Chiefs.
The secondary for the Seahawks has been a sieve when it comes to defending the pass, providing little resistance to opposing offenses. In a division with the likes of Cooper Kupp, DeAndre Hopkins and George Kittle, this is a problem.
Fortunately for the Seahawks, they have drafted two corners who are generating positive buzz, especially from the leader of the secondary, safety Quandre Diggs.
What up TX boy! @_Tariqwoolen Welcome to the family G!

Diggs has been nothing short of excellent and a turnover-creating machine since joining the Seahawks following a trade from Detroit in the 2019 season. The recent extension he signed this offseason will keep him in the Emerald City for three more years and Diggs is certainly looking forward to his new teammates.
Bryant is even having a little fun back with the veteran safety.
Appreciate it fam! Lol you know Kobe the real goat bruh. 🤣 https://t.co/OlcxwybPW9
