The World Cup is here and while it might not be in the summer months like normal, meaning you are unlikely to be enjoying the games from a beer garden, you can still enjoy some great food during the match. And to make it easier, supermarkets and fast food chains are offering some enticing deals to make sure you have the perfect snacks to enjoy.
Wales will be playing in the World Cup for the first time in 64 years, with star player Gareth Bale hoping to lead the team to success. McDonald's
Popular fast food chain McDonald's has announced a menu change for the World Cup meaning you can tuck into some great food. They have launched a new McDelivery Chicken Combo which is ten Chicken Selects, a 20 Chicken McNuggets Sharebox, four Select dips and four Standard dips.
The offer will be available from November 20 until December 19 and can only exclusively be redeemed via the delivery service. The McDelivery Chicken Combo will cost £15.99 and you can order on the McDonald's app, JustEat, UberEats and Deliveroo.
KFC
Launching their Christmas menu in time for the World Cup means there are some great deals you can enjoy. This includes the gravy triple bucket, six pieces of Original Recipe chicken, one regular Popcorn Chicken, with eight hot wings, six mini fillets, two large gravy sides ready to pour, four regular fries and a large bottle of drink for £19.99.
There is also the gravy double bucket with eight hot wings, six pieces of Original Recipe Chicken, one regular Popcorn Chicken, two large gravy sides ready to pour, four regular fries and a large bottle of drink for £16.99.
Slamburger
The Halal fast food burger chain Slamburger, which has a restaurant in Cardiff, is offering some great deals during the World Cup. From Monday, November 21 to Sunday, November 27 any single whooper will cost £2.99 and any double whooper will cost £4.50.
From Monday, November 28 to Sunday, December 4 any supreme burger will cost £2.99, from Monday, December 5 to Sunday, December 11 any bread will cost £3.99 and from Monday, December 12 to Sunday, December 18 any wrap will cost £2.40. Also available during November there will be 20% off orders from Just Eat.
Just Eat
The food delivery app and service Just Eat are offering up to 40% off big brands during the World Cup. The deals will be available on all England and Wales match days as well as all the biggest matches of the tournament. You can read more about the Just Eat deals here.
Papa Johns
Pizza chain Papa Johns is currently running a Big Match Bundle, for £28.99. You get two large pizzas, two classic sides and a large drink in the bundle.
Asda
Moving onto supermarkets now there are some great deals to enjoy. Asda is selling a box of Budweiser Larger Beer for £15 where you will get 24 300ml bottles and a free Budweiser FIFA World Cup Boonie Hat, so you can celebrate in style.
Asda is also offering a meal deal for £10 where you get two mains, two sides and two drinks. The choices include Pizza Express pizzas, McCain fries and Coca-Cola.
Other meal deals on offer at Asda are one pizza plus one garlic bread for £5.50. Or you can get two fresh pizzas plus a big bottle of fizzy drink for £6. The store is also offering two mains, two sides and one big drink for £10.
Sainsbury's
Like Asda Sainsbury's is offering a meal deal with theirs priced at £12 for two pizzas, two sides and one dip. They are also doing deals on packs of beer, including Stella Artois and Peroni, and reducing treats like Ben & Jerry's ice cream.
Morrisons
Offering a World Cup frozen meal deal you can enjoy two Goodfella's pizzas, one Haagen-Dazs ice cream and one Coke for £7.50. Morrisons is also running a Best Breakfast Pack for the World Cup, which includes four of The Best pork sausages, bacon rashers, a black pudding ring and a sachet of Bloody Mary ketchup for £2.99.
The store is also offering a fun "create your own shirt number pepperoni pizza" for £4.50, as well as a giant football cookie for £7. If you fancy laying on a spread, you can grab any two packs of party food and get a third free.
The range includes onion bhajis, prawn toast and mini deep dish cheese and tomato pizzas. Sharing bags of Sensations crisps have prices cut from £2 to £1.50. Drinks promotions for the tournament include 99p ales and two for £20 world beers.
Co-op
Co-op has a winning meal deal for the World Cup: two pizzas and a four-pack of beer for £6. The offer is available until December 13. You can also pick up any two packs of party food for £5, which includes Mac & Cheese bites and mini duck spring rolls.
Aldi
Budget supermarket Aldi has launched four limited-edition World Cup beers for the World Cup. Each can is branded with football kits from either England, Australia, Japan or Germany and priced at a budget-friendly £1.69.
Iceland
You get more than just food in the Iceland World Cup meal deal, you also get a free football. Costing £8 the meal deal includes two Chicago Town tiger crust pizzas and two sides. The offer is online and in-store until Monday, November 28.
Another meal deal the supermarket is offering is a Chicago Town takeaway pizza plus drink – either a four-pack of Carlsberg or an eight-pack of Pepsi Max – for £10 until Tuesday, November 29 online only. There is also an offer of three for £5 on party food, including chicken skewers and cheese popcorn bites.
Stock up and net some big savings on soft drinks at Iceland, with any two 24-packs for £17 or any five packs for £40 online only. Coca-Cola, Pepsi Max, Tango and 7UP are all included in the offer.
Tesco
Grab some party food deals at Tesco as they are offering three for £6 party foods, including pepperoni pizza parcels and sticky chicken kebabs, until Friday, December 2. An 18-pack of Fosters is on offer at £10 from £13.99 until Sunday, December 4.
Waitrose
Waitrose is also offering a meal deal, costing £15 for two pizzas, two extras and one drink. The drink can be beer, wine or a soft drink and extras include Gu desserts and garlic dough balls.
