The International Swing stage of the DP World Tour season moved into the second half at the Qatar Masters, with three more chances for players to finish top of the rankings for a $200,000 bonus.
That looks increasingly like being Patrick Reed following his second title in three starts after he beat Calum Hill by two.
Thanks to Reed's brilliant form, which includes cruising to victory at the Dubai Desert Classic and runner-up at the Bahrain Championship, he now leads the standings by more than 1,000 points over Nacho Elvira.
As well as the likelihood of the bonus payout, Reed is also now firmly in pole position to guarantee his spot in all 'Back 9' tournaments later in 2026, which have increased prize purses and higher Race To Dubai points.
Of course, it's not just the prospect of some attractive perks coming Reed's way that he has to show for his latest DP World Tour win.
Reed also claims substantial prize money thanks a record purse of $2.75m offered at the Doho Golf Club event.
Reed banks $467,500 for his victory, over $1m less than he earned for victory at the Dubai Desert Classic, but $42,500 more than the $425,000 Haotong Li won at the Qatar Masters a year ago.

For the second week in a row, Hill had to settle for runner-up, and for his efforts, he claims $302,500.
Aside from prize money, there was also a total of 3,500 Race To Dubai points on offer at the event, with 585 going to Reed, meaning as well as the International Swing rankings, he also tops the Race to Dubai rankings at this early stage of the season.
Below is what each player who made the cut won in euros at the Qatar Masters.
