Punjab: Congress leader, his sister-in-law shot dead, 2 among 9 identified arrested; police says old rivalry

PATIALA: Two persons including a Congress leader and his sister-in-law were shot dead in their house in Kartarpur village of Nurpur Bedi in Ropar district on Monday night by some assailants following an alleged old rivalry.

One of the family members was left injured and hospitalized in the incident and was shifted to PGI Chandigarh.
