Pune past 3rd wave peak, say hospitals; patient inflow drops

PUNE: A majority of hospitals in the city have recorded a gradual drop in Covid admissions in the last 48 hours, raising hopes of the third wave already past its peak here and beginning to slowly ebb now.

Top hospitals admitted of about 10% drop in daily Covid admissions, while predicting a much steeper drop during the coming two to three weeks.
