Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority approves Rs 276 crore for flyover at varsity chowk

PUNE: The Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) executive committee under the additional chief secretary finance has cleared the estimated funding of Rs276cr for the integrated double-deck flyover along with a price escalation, which may go up to Rs300cr on completion, officials said.

The integrated flyover at the University chowk is part of the proposed 23km Hinjewadi-Shivajinagar elevated third Metro line, which will connect the IT hub Hinjewadi to Shivajinagar.
