Pune: General body’s term ends, corporators in category ‘ex’

PUNE: The five-year term of the PMC’s current general body ended on Monday, leaving the incumbent and the aspiring corporators across party lines anxious as they were clueless about the schedule of the coming civic polls and also possible revisions in the ward boundaries.

From Tuesday, the 164 elected members of the current Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) house will carry the tag of “former corporators”, though many said they would continue to work on the citizens’ issues.
