Psychology says people who carry a charger everywhere may hate one feeling more than a dead phone

Some people check for three things before leaving home: keys, wallet and phone. Others have one more essential item. Their charger.

It stays in their handbag or backpack. They may carry it even when their phone is at 90%. A dead battery isn't actually an immediate threat. Yet leaving the charger behind can feel strangely uncomfortable.
