Paris Saint-Germain director Luis Campos has delivered his take on the Kylian Mbappe transfer story amid rumours the French superstar wants to leave the club.
Reports in Spain revealed that Mbappe is said to want to leave the reigning Ligue 1 champions in the January transfer window. Real Madrid were heavily linked with a move for the 23-year-old earlier this year, but Mbappe opted to sign a new deal at the Parc des Princes Stadium, extending his stay until 2025.
The France international would demand an eye-watering transfer fee, along with an extortionate wage package which could see many clubs ruled out of the race to sign the talented forward. Chelsea are likely to be the only club able to meet Mbappe's demands financially, but the PSG superstar may be willing to take a significant pay cut to seal a move away from the French capital.

After news broke of the claim that Mbappe wants to leave PSG mid-season, Campos has challenged the reports by issuing a fresh transfer stance on the 23-year-old forward. Speaking to French news outlet Canal Plus, the PSG sporting director said: “Mbappe has never told me about his intention to leave in January.
"We speak with him, Messi, Neymar, we’re very happy to be here. Mbappe has never told me or Nasser Al Khelaifi that he wants to leave Paris Saint-Germain in January.
"Is Mbappé happy here? You should ask him, it’s a serious question. I see him working as a top professional."
It looks as though the Mbappe saga is set to rumble on once again and the likes of Arsenal, Tottenham and Chelsea could look to pursue a potential deal depending on the France international's demands.
