Protesters occupy Glasgow City Chambers over homeless shelter closure

PROTESTERS stormed the Glasgow City Chambers building on Thursday over a recommendation to reject a planning application for a homeless shelter in the city centre.

Dozens of people, including campaigners, volunteers and homeless people, occupied 40 John Street.
