A protective dad has installed a Peter Kay alarm at his daughter's house in an effort to ward off intruders.

The hilarious warning siren was installed by Emmett Hood after an intruder got into Shannon Barker’s home.

Worried about his daughter's safety, the 47-year-old electrician came up with an ingenious solution.
