Dr Amir Khan has shared the signs and symptoms of prostate cancer in the wake of Paul Burrell's diagnosis.
Princess Diana's former butler was emotional as he shared the health update on yesterday's edition of Lorraine. The 64-year-old told the Scottish presenter he was "tired" as he revealed he was diagnosed with the condition last August.
He said: "I'm on hormone therapy at the moment. It's robbing me of my testosterone so my beard isn't growing like it should. I'm tired, I'm emotional and I get hot flushes."

He revealed he had been diagnosed during a routine medical ahead of a TV show. He said: "Out of that came a surprisingly high PSA test. I had no idea what this was but apparently it's a chemical released by your prostate gland."
Paul visited his GP after the test, who sent him for an MRI that confirmed a shadow on his prostate. Paul said he has been on an emotional rollercoaster since the diagnosis. He said: "Wrapping Christmas presents this year, I was thinking am I gonna do this next year. Am I gonna be here?"
On today's edition of Lorraine, the presenter revealed they had an overwhelming response after Paul shared his diagnosis. She was joined by Dr Amir, who urged men to visit their GP if they are concerned they have prostate cancer.
He said: "The symptoms to think about with prostate cancer is men generally over 50 with urinary symptoms because the prostate sits at the bottom of the bladder so if if it grows it can obstruct the flow of urine."
Dr Amir shared the following four symptoms that could indicate you have prostate cancer:
- Urinating more often
- Weaker stream
- Feeling of unemptied bladder
