Probe launched after man dies in Glasgow hospital after being taken from police station

Glasgow Crown Office Procurator Fiscal Service COPFS

An investigation has been launched after a young man died in hospital after being taken from a Glasgow police station.

The Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service have told the Police Investigations & Review Commissioner to investigate the circumstances of the death of the 26-year-old man.

He passed away in Glasgow Royal Infirmary after being taken there from Stewart Street police station in the city centre.
