NEW DELHI: Rising Indian shuttler Priyanshu Rajawat's impressive performance came to an end in the pre-quarterfinals of the Singapore Masters Super 750 tournament on Thursday, as he suffered a defeat to third seed Kodai Naraoka of Japan.

Rajawat, who had surprised everyone by defeating Japan's Kanta Tsuneyama in the first round, couldn't maintain his momentum and lost to Naraoka in straight games, with a scoreline of 17-21, 16-21 in Singapore.
