Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie's rare outing with Zara Tindall after Philip memorial

The royals were out in force as they came together to remember the Queen's late beloved husband Prince Philip at a memorial service.

And it seems that after the service on Tuesday some of his grandchildren and their husbands gathered for a long lunch following the event at Westminster Abbey.

Pictures show that Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie were joined by cousin Zara Tindall for a rare outing together at the exclusive Scott's restaurant in London's Mayfair.

The cousins came with their husbands - Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, Jack Brooksbank and Mike Tindall - who were all pictured at the eatery.

It came just hours after all six of them had attended the emotional service that was dedicated to honouring and remembering the life of the Duke of Edinburgh.

And maybe they took the opportunity to reminisce about their special memories with their grandfather?

Both Eugenie and Beatrice were still wearing the same outfits they had worn to the service, although Beatrice seemed to have removed her hat and was carrying it in her hand.

Meanwhile, Zara appeared to be wearing a different coat from the one she had on at the service - and she too had removed her hat.

She and husband Mike were without oldest daughter Mia, who had joined them at the memorial service, and once the lunch was over, they were pictured leaving in a black cab.

Beatrice, Eugenie and Zara were among seven of the Queen and Prince Philip's eight grandchildren that attended the memorial service earlier that day. The only grandchild missing was Prince Harry.

The service was also attended by the Queen, who following a bout of ill health, had been determined to attend to pay tribute to her late husband.

As she entered the Abbey, the walked with a walking stick in one hand and held on to her son - Beatrice and Eugenie's dad - Prince Andrew with the other.

And it appears the sight of her father and grandmother as the congregation sang the first hymn caused Beatrice to break down in tears.

She could be seen covering her face with an order of service before reaching into her handbag for a tissue as she became visibly emotional.

Among the other royals at the Abbey were Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, who havd just returned from their Caribbean tour, also attended alongside their oldest son Prince George and daughter Princess Charlotte.
