Prince William and Princess Kate's Coronation move to stop Louis being 'offshoot like Harry' - expert

Prince Louis entertained royal watchers during the Platinum Jubilee celebrations back in June 2022 with his cheeky antics. Now, with the Coronation on the horizon, there has been speculation as to his role at this next historic event.

One royal expert expects The Prince and Princess of Wales to make a move that will stop the royal sibling feeling like an “offshoot like Harry”. Reports indicate that in an effort to stop another royal feeling like a “spare”, Prince William and Princess Kate will want to ensure Prince Louis doesn’t feel left out.

The Mirror reported the opinion of royal commentator Angela Mollard, adding the parents have long shown the central importance of family to their brand. Ms Mollard suggested that the royal couple should use the Coronation to ensure their second-born son Louis doesn’t end up going the same route as Harry. She said they could give Louis a memory of the ceremony that will help strengthen his bond with the monarchy, to ensure he’s there later in life when big brother George is king.
