Prince Phillip was reportedly "spitting blood" after discovering that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle wanted to leave the Royal Family.

According to Christopher Andersen, author of Brothers and Wives: Inside the Private Lives of William, Kate, Harry and Meghan, the late Duke of Edinburgh told a trusted aide: "we were wrong about her all along".

The royal author claimed that Prince Phillip went straight to the Queen after hearing the news to express his anger at the couple.
