Prince William's frosty relationship with his brother Prince Harry has "not recovered" since his bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey, a royal expert has claimed.
In the explosive chat over a year ago, Harry and wife Meghan Markle shared their experiences as working members of the Royal Family and explained why they stepped back to carve out a new life in America.
They alleged there had been conversations about how dark son Archie's skin would be and Meghan revealed she had "suicidal thoughts" during her time in The Firm and claimed she was denied help for her mental health.
When it came to his brother, Harry claimed William was "trapped" within the monarchy and added: "My brother can’t leave that system, but I have.”
And according to royal expert Camilla Tominey, a year on from the interview William and Harry have not made any progress in ironing out their feud.
Writing in the Telegraph, she said: "While Prince Charles is thought to be in regular contact with his youngest son, Harry’s relationship with William has still not recovered from Oprah, after he suggested both his father and his brother felt “trapped” in the Royal family.
"As one source put it: 'As the Queen has always said, they remain much-loved members of the family but it’s not been easy. It’s hard enough for any family to get along but when such intimate details are made public on prime time TV? It’s difficult to put that genie back in the bottle.'"

Her comments come after a new book by royal biographer Robert Hardman, includes claims from a friend of William's that he was "as low as I'd ever seen him" after the interview.
The book called Queen Of Our Times: The Life Of Elizabeth II is currently being serialised in the Daily Mail.
And in an extract, Mr Hardman writes: “For Prince William, there was the added anguish of seeing the younger brother whom he had protected (and who had idolised him) now throwing incendiary and, in some cases, unanswerable charges into the public domain, fully aware of their likely impact.
"‘William,’ says one friend, ‘was as low as I’d ever seen him.’"
Meanwhile, the book also claims that the Queen knew Harry and Meghan would not return to royal life - as she learned they had left with their dogs in tow.
The couple stunned the world when they quit their royal duties in 2020, revealing they were starting a new life overseas.
Some around the corridors of Buckingham Palace expected them to one day return to the fold, but the Queen knew differently.
According to the new book, the Queen told a visitor she did not expect them to resume royal life.
When asked about a future return for the couple, she replied: “Of course not. They took the dogs.”
