Prince Harry has told how his daughter Lilibet has taken her first steps saying “her current priorities are trying to keep up with her brother.”
The Duke of Sussex spoke to America’s People magazine to talk about his children and the Invictus Games.
Discussing his daughter, the 37-year-old said: "Her current priorities are trying to keep up with her brother.
"She took her first step just a few days ago. Proud papa, here."
He then spoke about his hope to bring his children, Archie, two, and Lilbet, two months, to his Invictus Games, one day.
"We can't wait,” he said adding he has already introduced the competition to his son.
"I showed Archie a video of wheelchair basketball and rugby from the Invictus Games in Sydney, and he absolutely loved it," Harry said.
"I showed him how some were missing legs and explained that some had invisible injuries, too.
"Not because he asked, but because I wanted to tell him. Kids understand so much, and to see it through his eyes was amazing because it's so unfiltered and honest."
Harry's told how his personal life has changed greatly since launching the games eight years ago, most notably becoming a husband and father.
"Being a dad certainly adds another emotional layer to it," he added.
"When I was in the Army, I promised myself I would be out before having a wife and kids, because I couldn't imagine the heartache of being apart for so long during deployment, the risk of possibly getting injured, and the reality that my family's lives could be changed forever if that happened.
Of the game’s competitors he added: "Every member of the Invictus community has experienced varying degrees of these things. I have tremendous respect for what they and their families sacrifice in the name of service."
The interview came as Buckingham Palace officials last night braced themselves for potential further revelations after Harry also spoke to the NBC.
The US TV network landed a sit-down interview with the Duke during the Invictus Games in The Hague, speaking to Hoda Kotb while in the Netherlands
The full interview will be broadcast on Wednesday in the US shortly after 12pm UK time.
Palace officials will undoubtedly be watching, possibly fearful of further claims.
