Prince Harry and Meghan Markle paid a subtle but powerful tribute to his grandmother The Queen, after her death on Thursday.
News was delivered to the nation just after 6.30pm on Thursday that Queen Elizabeth II had died at Balmoral a few hours earlier, at the age of 96, as several senior members of the Royal Family headed to Scotland to be with her. Buckingham Palace announced the death of Her Majesty in a statement which read: 'The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon. The King and Queen Consort will remain at Balmoral and return to London in the morning."
Prince Harry was one of the Royals to make his way up to Scotland, arriving in the grounds of Balmoral in the evening, after the sad news of The Queen's passing had been announced to the world. He was pictured look solemn in a vehicle that passed awaiting press and there were photographers outside again on Friday morning as Harry, once again on his own, headed for a flight back to London.

Meghan, who has been married to Prince Harry since the summer of 2018, didn't make the trip to Scotland with her husband but they made a united tribute on the front page of their website Archwell. Any visitors to the site have been greeted with a black background and the words 'In loving memory of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II 1926-2022.'
While Harry and Meghan's own titles as Duke and Duchess of Sussex aren't expected to change as a result of his father becoming King Charles III, their two children, Archie and Lilibet now have Royal titles.
The Sussex children are now technically Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet Mountbatten-Windsor. The change comes under rules set out by King George V in 1917, with tradition dictating that only the children of the sovereign, the children of the sons of the sovereign, and the eldest living son of the eldest son of the Prince of Wales could be princes and princesses.
