Prince George and Princess Charlotte of Cambridge will go by different names once they return to school, according to reports.
This follows the news that the Duke of Cambridge, Prince William and the Duchess, Kate Middleton will be moving to Windsor with their three children including Prince Louis.
The Royals will live in Adelaide Cottage, which will be an approximate ten-minute walk from the Queen’s residence at Windsor Castle, and an hour’s drive from the Duchess’ parents, Carole and Michael Middleton’s, home in Bucklebury.
With a new location, comes a new school.
According to reports from Hello!, the Royal children will not be addressed by their titles but as George and Charlotte Cambridge as a means to help them settle in with the other children without drawing attention to their status.
Prince William and Prince Harry had followed a similar rule when they attended school, going by William and Harry Wales after their father, Prince Charles’ title as the Prince of Wales.
Headmaster of Lambrook School, Jonathan Perry, has said that he is “delighted” that the Cambridge children will be joining the school and he looks forward to welcoming the family to the community.
Four-year-old Prince Louis will be starting school in September for the first time and also joining his siblings at Lambrook.
