The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were among the royal guests at today's annual Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey today.
They were joined by Prince Charles - who stood in for the Queen after she pulled out of attending the ceremony - and his wife Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall.
Before the procession at the start of the service began, the royal party were able to greet each other with warm hugs and kisses and engage a just a few minutes of chit-chat.

Jeremy Freeman, an expert in lip reading told the Mirror, that Charles told his daughter-in-law "we are going to pop in and see you all..."
It would appear the plans were being made for after William and Kate return from their week-long royal tour of the Caribbean later this month.
And if they keep the date in their diaries, it would allow Charles to spend some precious time with his three grandchildren Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
