Prince Andrew 'on his own' now as King Charles has 'thrown him out' of Buckingham Palace

King Charles has reportedly 'thrown' Prince Andrew out of Buckingham Palace as he relieves him of his working royal duties.

An expert has claimed that The Duke of York will never be the "royal as he once was", reports Berkshire Live. The 62-year-old will no longer have an office within the monarch's London residence.

It has also been reported by a source that Prince Andrew won't be able to use the residence as a corresponding address either. In an interview with The Sun, the source claimed: "Any presence at the Palace is officially over.

"The King has made it clear. He isn’t a working royal. He’s on his own.”

The late Queen's second son was seen on Christmas Day during the family's traditional walk to St Mary Magdalene Church.

Royal commentator, Richard Fitzwilliams, told MailOnline at the time: "Andrew’s appearance at the St Mary Magdalene Church at Sandringham today, comes a day after it was reported that he is now not allowed to have an office in Buckingham Palace, retain a small staff or use it as an address.

"He is clearly on his own and may recruit his own team as he battles to be rehabilitated. He is still a member of the Royal Family hence his appearance.

"However, he is not and will never be a senior working royal as he once was, King Charles has made this clear."

Since Prince Andrew was interviewed by Emily Maitlis on the BBC, the palace has kept a skeleton staff for his limited remaining duties due to the appearance ending in disaster. Now, it is unknown what will happen to those who are working for him.

However, as he tries to repair his reputation, Prince Andrew is said to be recruiting a new communication team that he will be expected to pay for himself.

This news comes just days after it was revealed that King Charles had removed all MET Police security for his brother, and instead will be paying for his private protection.

It has been reported that the King will be forking out a whopping £3 million a year to protect his brother.

Norman Baker, former Home Office minister and Privy Council member, previously said: “Armed protection has always been a status symbol for the likes of Prince Andrew."

He added: “Of course, he should pay it himself and not burden the taxpayer because he is a private individual and carries out no public duties. People like David Beckham pay for their own security so why shouldn’t Prince Andrew?

“We shouldn’t pay for Andrew’s or Harry’s security or any member of the Royal Family that carries out no public duties.”
