Prime Video top 10 shows — here’s the 3 I’m binge-watching this week (Dec. 3-7)

Prime Video logo.

Prime Video’s top 10 shifts constantly, as new releases tend to blow up overnight while fan-favorites like “Maxton Hall” and “The Summer I Turned Pretty” practically have permanent residency. It’s a handy snapshot of what everyone’s glued to right now, even if not every title is worth watching.

I went through the list myself and narrowed it down to three that are worth your time. These new arrivals genuinely deserve a spot on your Prime Video watchlist. This week’s highlights include the video game adaptation “Fallout” (with excitement already building for season 2), a western drama perfect for fans of “Yellowstone,” and a new animated fantasy series with a dark twist.

This list is based on the Prime Video top 10 U.S shows as of Wednesday, December 3, 2025.

Best shows in the Prime Video top 10

‘Landman’

If you’re a fan of Taylor Sheridan’s style, “Landman” is an easy win. The western drama’s first season is now streaming on Prime Video, and it carries the same gripping energy Sheridan brought to “Yellowstone,” “Tulsa King,” and “1923.” If you’ve devoured any of those and you’re in the mood for a binge-watch with sharp characters and plenty of juicy drama, “Landman” absolutely earns a place on your watchlist.

“Landman” is set in the oil-boom towns of West Texas and follows Tommy Norris (Billy Bob Thornton), a landman working for an oil company, who tries to steer his firm to success during a massive fuel rush. The series tracks the Norris family — including Tommy, his ex-wife, kids, and business associates — as they juggle risky oil deals, dangerous fieldwork, and personal drama.

‘Fallout’

“Fallout” is surging up the Prime Video charts once more, rocketing back to No. 1 as excitement builds for season 2 and its buzzed-about new trailer. Plenty of fans are diving in for a rewatch, and it’s not hard to see the appeal. Its dark humor, striking game-inspired world, and memorable characters make it incredibly re-bingeable, whether you’re gearing up for the next season or finally seeing what the fuss is about.

Set about two centuries after a nuclear war wipes out modern society, the series opens with communities who’ve spent generations sealed inside high-tech underground Vaults built to safeguard humanity. When they emerge, they discover a dangerous , irradiated world waiting above. The story centres on Lucy (Ella Purnell), a sheltered Vault dweller who ventures into the brutal landscape and crosses paths with survivors of all kinds, including a battle-hardened former cowboy, now a Ghoul bounty hunter (Walton Goggins).

‘The Mighty Nein’

“The Mighty Nein” is primed to win over anyone who loved “The Legend of Vox Machina,” and my colleague Malcolm McMillan even called it “a worthy successor.” There’s a lot of shared DNA between the two series, so if “Vox Machina” was your thing, this new animated quest should feel instantly familiar. Still, even in its opening three episodes, it’s clear “The Mighty Nein” aims for a darker, more grown-up tone.

The story centres on a mismatched crew of drifters, oddballs, and runaways who are pulled together after a potent magical artifact known as “The Beacon” slips into the wrong hands. As danger spreads across Exandria’s Wildemount continent, they’re forced to band together to confront a rising menace threatening their land. Along the way, their past wounds, hidden truths, and personal struggles start to collide, binding them closer as they fight to survive.
