Bargain hunters are rushing out to Primark to snap up an affordable bottle of perfume that has been deemed the "best dupe" for a £110 bottle of Jo Malone.
Fans will know that the pricey fragrance brand is no stranger to replicas on the high street, as supermarket chain Aldi has become quite well versed in its range of 'dupes' that mimic the firm.
And now Primark has also entered the game with its £3.50 PS...Love Midnight Haze Eau De Toilette that has been hailed as the latest 'dupe' that could save shoppers over £100.
The budget fragrance was a hit on social media recently after one shopper shared it to a money saving Facebook group, where she claimed it was "near identical" to Jo Malone's English Pear and Freesia Cologne that retails for £110 at Jo Malone and Selfridges for a 100ml bottle. Meanwhile, a 50ml bottle retails at £78 at John Lewis and LOOKFANTASTIC.
It wouldn't be the first time that a designer fragrance for less had been spotted at Primark, as shoppers previously were sent hunting for a £7 bottle that was said to be similar to Alien, the iconic Thierry Mugler fragrance.
Taking to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Group on Facebook, Vicky Harper wrote: "I’m a bit of a perfume fiend and love lots of scents. So for any of you perfume lovers out there I have found the best Jo Malone dupe ever!
"I randomly smelled this Primark perfume today and could not get over how near identical it smells to English Pear and Freesia! I did another side by side test at home and honestly there is little difference in scent, it also lasted really well! I washed my hands and could still smell a lingering hint afterwards.
"Definitely would recommend if you’re a fan of the Jo Malone scent but don’t want to spend a lot."
Hundreds of impressed shoppers flocked to the comments section to rave over the "beautiful" fragrance and to thank the shopper for sharing the 'dupe'.
"It's beautiful isn't it ,I've got it at home n smells amazing", raved one shopper.
"That is my favourite Jo malone scent - thanks for that", said a second happy shopper.
"Thanks for the info…I love primark pomegranate and black tea but cannot get it - will try this one", commented a third.
"Amazing! Thanks for that! Love that JM scent!", raved a fourth.
"The primark dupes are so lovely! And last all day!!", added a fifth.
You can shop Primark's range of perfumes online and in-store. The £3.50 PS...Love Midnight Haze is not online, but could be available in stores. Check with your local store for stock availability, as this can vary.
