If you're looking to pick up some good quality designer 'dupes' at affordable prices, then it has become well-known that Primark has become one of the places to be on the high-street.
From its range of beauty products to clothing collections, the fast-fashion retailer has become iconic for its vast range of items that look eerily similar to high-end designer brands. And it looks like the shopping chain has another winner on their hands with a "cosy" winter jacket that shoppers are comparing to the popular North Face Teddy Jacket that costs a whopping £290.
Lauren Candy took to TikTok to share her shock at finding the designer jacket 'dupe' when she was out shopping in her local Primark with her sister, reports The Mirror. In a video that has since been viewed over 120,000 views, the TikTok star showed off the similarities between the jackets to impressed shoppers.
Priced at just £35, Primark's jacket costs just a fraction of the designer brand's version, whilst also looking almost identical to its pricier counterpart. Featuring the same Sherpa fleece, brown two-tone shoulder pads and puffer jacket design, the retailer's version is a 'dupe' in every sense of the word - just without the price-tag to match.
In her original video on TikTok, Lauren said: "So, Primark have a dupe of the North Face that went viral last year and it's only £35!"
In a follow-up clip, the shopper gave the coat further attention. She captioned the post: "SHES [sic] COZY."
She then tried the jacket on in another follow-up video, where she captioned: "Not the North Face teddy dupe in Primark, it has a concealed hood and insulated inside
"Actually good quality for £35," she gushed.
The shopper's videos highlighting the North Face 'dupe' were then inundated with comments from shoppers who gushed over Lauren's budget purchase, with many wanting to find it for themselves.
"I got it yesterday omg eager shopper.", exclaimed one shopper.
"I want", raved a second.
"The north face dupe oml", commented a third.
A fourth shopper tagged their friend and said: "Wait I want that puffer north face dupe."
Savvy shoppers will know that this is not the first time that Primark has wowed shoppers with a North Face 'dupe', as the retailer previously stocked a £30 coat similar to the brand's blue and black puffer coat that was worth £270.
