A woman on TikTok was surprised at the £6 bum-lifting shorts that are reportedly a dupe of the shorts in Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS range. Primark, which is hugely popular in Liverpool, has become known for its designer dupes in recent years, often selling alternative versions to high-end products for much less.
TikTok user @janessaaax posted a video showing her buying the dupes in a Primark store, followed by her trying the purchased shorts on at her home. The video then shows her body side by side with and without the Primark dupes.
The TikTok user said: “I was stood there indecisive for ages with the sizing because it’s either six-eight or 10-12, no in between”.

SKIMS, an American fashion company founded by Kim Kardashian, designs next-generation underwear, loungewear, and shapewear. SKIMS focuses on body positivity and inclusivity across the brand and practises inclusive sizing. The company was valued more than $3.2 billion in January 2022.
Buying the SKIMS would set shoppers back £34 but the Primark dupe is priced at £6. This would save shoppers £28 if they opted for the dupe.
One TikToker commented, this has “solved all of my flat problems”. While another said: “So good for £6!!” The video currently has 130.1k views on TikTok.
A third user added: “They are so comfy”. Find your nearest Primark store here.
