Channel 5 presenter Storm Huntley, who is due to give birth to her first child in less than a month, has announced that she has covid. The Jeremy Vine host said that she thought she had escaped it after all this time but it finally caught up with her.
Storm is currently expecting a baby boy with her husband, Lafontaines singer Kerr Okan. Taking to Twitter, she wrote: "Just as I was about to hand myself in to medical science… it caught up with me."
And many of her Twitter followers commented on her post. One wrote: "Oh no! I’m just getting over it (and I’m not pregnant!) and am very tired still…. take care of yourself. Am sure @KerrOkan will be a good nurse."

Another added: "Sorry about that Storm, hope it's not too bad." While one said: "Seems to be the case this month with so many people that managed to dodge it for 2 years! We hope that you are not too unwell."
Earlier this month, Storm proudly showed off her blossoming bump as she prepares to give birth. She also has been diagnosed with gestational diabetes during her pregnancy.
She wrote: "Diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes about three weeks ago and it’s all a bit big and scary. I know lots of you have to deal with this daily, so any advice?"
Last year, Storm and Kerr, who tied the knot in Scotland in 2021, recorded the sweet moment they found out they were having a boy after Kerr kicked a football revealing blue smoke.
