Dani Dyer has decided on the names she would like call her unborn twins and says she is prepared to face “negative opinions” over them.
The pregnant Love Island star, 26, announced in January that she and her footballer boyfriend Jarrod Bowen, also 26, are expecting twins later this year.
The daughter of former EastEnders actor Danny Dyer has been regularly keeping fans updated on her pregnancy on Instagram and recently revealed the gender of the twins as girls.
She is also a proud mum to two-year-old son Santiago, who she shares with ex-boyfriend Sammy Kimmence.
Following her first son’s birth in 2021, Dyer was forced to hit back at people who urged her to change the youngerster’s unusual moniker.
Now, during a new online Q&A, Dyer said she is expected to face much of the same once she announces the names she has chosen this time around.
When asked if she had settled on names, she admitted that she had been struggling a bit, but felt that they were finally there.
She said: “I think we have decided both names... Jarrod always wanted one of the names so that was settled for twin 1..
“However, twin 2 I was struggling as I always wanted a certain name but kept thinking would it work (it’s not the most common name) but I’m going to go for it as I think I’d really regret not choosing the name I always loved deep down,” followed by a heart emoji.
Feeling that twin 2’s name could really divide opinion, she added: “People really have negative opinions on baby names I had that a lot with Santi so I’m prepared for that again,” she wrote alongside a laughing face emoji.
