Pregnant Chloe Goodman reveals her second baby's gender and health issues agony

Chloe Goodman has revealed she is set to welcome a baby boy as she has posed for a stunning pregnancy photoshoot for a glossy weekly magazine.

The 28-yeaar-old reality star is proud mother to one-year-old daughter Isla – who arrived in May 2020 – and is expecting baby number two with her fiancé Grant Hall.

Chloe has revealed she is excited to be having a baby boy in the coming months – and has confessed the baby boy is likely to be the last child she has.

The Ex on the Beach and former Celebrity Big Brother star has endured a number of agonising health issues while pregnant with both of her children.

Speaking to Closer magazine, Chloe expressed her excitement about expanding her family, saying: “We are extremely lucky to have Isla and now a baby boy... I'm over the moon after everything we've been through.”

While the star is clearly looking forward to be becoming a mother for the second time, she has revealed excruciating details of the agony she is enduring in her pregnancy.

The reality star was forced to have a cervical stitch when she was pregnant with her daughter – with the procedure implemented as a precaution to reduce the risk of miscarriage of premature birth.

The stitch was added after she had already had most of her cervix removed after doctors discovered abnormal cells on that part of her uterus.

She had the same cervical stitch procedure again for her current pregnancy – but doctors discovered there wasn’t enough of her cervix remaining so had to stitch her womb and bladder together instead, creating painful side effects.

Chloe explained: “It took nine weeks to discover what had happened with my bladder. I was wetting myself, I was wearing adult nappies and I had no urge to wee. I was in excruciating pain too and in and out of hospital.

“Doctors wanted to remove the stitch, but I was adamant that I couldn't put the baby at risk, and refused. I have been really closely monitored since. The incontinence stopped but the pain is still pretty bad.”

Chloe went on to explain that she has been taking medicine and antibiotics to treat her current condition and says she will undergo a Caesarean section at the 36 week point of her pregnancy as a natural birth could jeopardise her own health.

She has also been warned by doctors that she may need to use a catheter bag for the rest o her life as her bladder could end up being severely damaged.

She added to Closer: “They have to put the stitch higher up than it was with Isla because of the scar tissue and I don’t have much of my cervix left anyway, so I've been told I won't be able to carry again after this pregnancy. This will be our last child.”

The star has previously appealed to fans and followers to undergo regular smear tests to ensure any health issues are spotted early.

She said in a past interview: “They said within three years I would have had cervical cancer. So by the time I was 28, I would have had cervical cancer. Jade Goody was 27 when she died.

“I really want to stress that the age be brought down to 21, not 25. My first smear test should not be that severe where I lose half my cervix first time round.”
