American drone company Powerus, barely a year old, is moving into the heart of the global defence business. It has accumulated US military business, pursued customers in the Gulf and now signed an agreement with Pakistan’s army, just as it prepares to become a publicly traded company backed by Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, both sons of US President Donald Trump.
Powerus has signed a memorandum of understanding with Field Marshal Asim Munir, Pakistan’s de facto leader, whom Donald Trump has called his "favourite field marshal", that includes an initial drone-related order, co-founder Brett Velicovich told Reuters on Wednesday.
