Shoppers are rushing to Poundland to get their hands on an 'unreal' outfit people are comparing to a £260 designer set. One shopper was so impressed by the set, she called it 'unreal'.
Tik Toker Ellie Scales, who goes by the handle @ellieeewbu, shared her Poundland outfit haul on the social media platform. She said: "I’ve just been to Poundland and I have found the most unreal outfit. A fluffy three piece out like a Skims dupe… when did Poundland up their game?”
Ellie held up the set to the camera. She showed off the fluffy grey set, which consists of trousers, a crop top and a cardigan. Shoppers were quick to compare the set to Kim Kardashian's high-end brand SKIMS.
Trying on the outfit, she exclaimed: "“It is so cute and so cosy …but oh my God!” She concluded: "Run to poundland now”.
The Poundland crop top costs £6. The trousers cost £10 and the cardigan is £16.
The total cost of the Poundland outfit is £16. Meanwhile, a pair of SKIMS cosy knit trousers cost £86. The SKIMS cosy knit tank is £50, and its cosy knit robe is an eye-watering £124.
That's a total of £260. Poundland's cosy set costs £228 less. One Tik Tok user replied to Ellie's video, writing: "It’s giving."
Another responded: "NO I LOVEEE." A third chimed in: "Stunning!! …. There’s me thinking you only spent £3"
Somebody else said: "It’s a Mrs Hinch dupe! I’ve got the set from last year." Another person said: "I brought a few clothes bits from pound land and I love it!"
