The Arizona Cardinals face the Chicago Bears in Week 16 on the road. While they seek their fourth win of the year, there are some notable achievements and milestones a few of Arizona’s players can reach in the game.
Tight end Trey McBride, running back James Conner, quarterback Kyler Murray and kicker Matt Prater are featured below.
TE Trey McBride
McBride already sets a single-season franchise record for receptions by a tight end with every reception, but with 88 receiving yards, he will reach 800 yards for the season, becoming just the second tight end in team history to reach that. Hall of Famer Jackie Smith is the other. With 99, he will have had the second-highest single-season receiving yard total by a tight end.
RB James Conner
His next rushing touchdown will be the 50th of his career and he would be one of only seven active players with 50 or more career rushing touchdowns.
He needs 83 rushing yards to reach 800 for the season. It would be the second time in his career he reaches 800 yards in a season.
QB Kyler Murray
With 77 passing yards, he will reach 15,000 for his career, joining Russell Wilson, Josh Allen and Cam Newton as the only players in NFL history to have at least 15,000 passing yards and at least 2,000 rushing yards in their first five seasons.
With two touchdown passes, he would reach 90 in his career.
K Matt Prater
Prater’s next field goal he makes from at least 50 yards will be the 80th of his career. He already holds the NFL record.
With two made field goals, he will pass Matt Bryant for 12th place on the NFL all-time list with 398 for his career.
