With the Arizona Cardinals not making the postseason, their fans can watch the NFL playoffs for different reasons. Whether it it to root for a secondary team, player or root against other teams or players, there is reason to watch.
As the Cardinals prepare for the offseason and free agency, we can find potential free agent targets on every team playing in the postseason.
With the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Detroit Lions playing Sunday afternoon, here are some free agents to know who would fill needs on the Cardinals this offseason.
Buccaneers WR Mike Evans
Evans is 30 years old but still had over 1,200 yards in 2023. The Cardinals could use his height and playmaking.
Buccaneers OL Aaron Stinnie
Stinnie is the Bucs’ starting left guard. The Cardinals need a left guard this offseason.
Buccaneers DL Greg Gaines
Gaines is a depth guy on the defensive line but has had as many as 4.5 sacks as a starter for the Rams. He played in all 17 games this season for Tampa with 24 tackles and a sack.
Lions WR Josh Reynolds
The Cardinals would be wise to redo their receiving room. Reynolds is not spectacular but has a pair of 600-yard seasons, including 2023. He offers length at 6-foot-3.
Lions OL Jonah Jackson
The Cardinals do not have a certain left guard. Jackson is a very good one and he was drafted while Cardinals assistant general manager Dave Sears was running the Lions’ scouting department.
Lions LB Jalen Reeves-Maybin
Reeves-Maybin is a Pro Bowl special teamer. With Josh Woods and Zeke Turner, both stud special teams players who play linebacker, hitting free agency, Reeves-Maybin could be a nice fit, especially if he can transition to a full-time role on defense line Woods was able to do this year.
