An app is helping gamers easily capture amazing footage from Fortnite and Rocket League - and new users can receive an exclusive in-game reward.
Postparty, currently ranking sixth place in the App Store's most popular free apps, has been launched by Epic Games. They are the team behind the two popular titles.
It is already possible to put out your best gameplay footage using the dedicated share buttons on PlayStation and Xbox consoles. However, options for editing are limited using this method.

Postparty aims to solve this by allowing users to save clips directly into their app where it can be trimmed, edited and then posted on social media channels.
Besides the Battle Royale mode, players can also use the app to save their Creative mode clips. However, it can't be used in the Save the World mode.
Once you have downloaded the app, you must sign in using your Epic Games account. Once you have done so and are playing Fortnite, press the share buttons on your device.
PlayStations has the Options button, Xbox the Menu button and Nintendo Switch uses the + button. On PC, press the Esc key.
This will save your last 30 seconds of gameplay into the app. The process is the same for Rocket League, but the app is only compatible with PlayStation and Xbox devices for the time being.
There is an exclusive in-game reward in Fornite linked to Postparty. Once you share a clip from the app for the first time, you will receive the Post That! wrap and Postparty Confetti spray.
The two items will appear in your locker the next time you join the lobby. This reward is only available for a limited time only.
