A postman has shared a mistake some homeowners make that could stop them from receiving their post and it's more common than you think.
In a Tik Tok video, postman Ben Davis gave his perspective on the "worst thing he’s ever seen" while working on the job - and it's not for the reason you might think.

The video has amassed over 350,000 views to date, Mirror UK reports.
Postman Ben, who works for Royal Mail, expressed his frustration over a simple mistake that a lot of people waiting for their deliveries have fallen victim to.
Ben joked that homeowners who are guilty of the mistake in question will "never get any post".
He said: "As a postman, the worst thing I ever see is when number eights have nailed on their number to the door upside down.
"They think the number eight is the same whichever way - but no!
"You need to have the bigger loop underneath - otherwise it undermines the structural integrity of the eight, and it's liable to topple and become an infinity symbol.”
Ben continues: "If you live at number infinity Smith Road, you are never getting any post - thank you very much."
Tik Tok users took to the comment section to share their own personal stories about their unfortunate mishaps with door numbers.
"There's a house round the corner from me who's used a nine as a six and it enrages me," one said.
A second wrote: “As a postman I agree with that. What is even worse is on my round someone has their three upside down.”
While a third said: ”As a homeowner, with a number 8, my biggest gripe is the postman giving us the post for the house ending ‘B’.”
Another said: “I write my number 8’s like this and it’s greatly upsetting.”
Ben responded: “I’m going to have to go for a walk to cool down, now.”
