Postman left with 'significant injuries' after alleged attack

A 43-year-old man and 37-year-old woman have been arrested after a postman was left with 'significant facial injuries' following an assault.

On Thursday afternoon, the postman was struck repeatedly on the face as he delivered mail in the Brianswell Close area of Poleglass in Belfast.

He was subsequently taken to hospital where he was treated for his injuries, Belfast Live reports.
