A Post Office on Carlton Hill is set to serve the community again as it opens under new management. It comes after the store on 337 Carlton Hill closed on January 19.
The Post Office shut up shop when the McColl's store closed. It is now re-opening under new management of an independent postmaster on February 24.
The opening hours will be Monday to Sunday from 6am to 10pm. Richard Clark, Post Office network provision lead, said: "We are delighted to be restoring Post Office services to Carlton Hill as we know how important a Post Office is to a community."
